TRM Enters Casino Contract

Reflecting its increased presence in the gaming industry, TRM (ATM) Limited has entered into a three-year contract with leisure giant Rank Group Gaming Division, operator of Mecca
Bingo, Grosvenor Casinos and Hard Rock Casinos.

TRM cash machines are currently being installed in Rank Gaming sites across the United Kingdom. The London-based company was successful in winning the contract because of its variety of products and solutions.

Rank Group Gaming Division's Director of Purchasing, Michele Jennings,comments: "Our market sectors offer complex demands and TRM was able to provide flexible solutions to accommodate our cash machine estate. We look forward to developing a long-term relationship with TRM as we continue to
expand our business across the United Kingdom."

Brigadiers lose bingo

The Brigadier Drum and Bugle Corp will soon lose its ability to raise money through Bingo. The State Racing and Wagering Board decided to revoke its bingo license this morning.

The board said the Bugle Corp was running Bingo at Brigadier Hall as a commercial operation, instead of a charity. A spokeswoman for the Board said four Brigadier members sat silently in on the board meeting today.

ITV, the UK commercial television network, is planning to launch a fourth channel that will be based on interactive gaming.

As reported by C21Media, the new channel will consist of quiz and gaming shows based on pay-per-play and betting.

ITV recently appointed Debbie Mason, the founder of bingo based interactive gaming channel Avago, as interactive commissioner.

One gamer goes home with first bingo pot

A few problems with the machines didn't stop the first big payout from the Super Bucks Bingo game late Saturday night at the Waccamaw Factory Shoppes.

The big winner, Summerville resident Stephanie Dresp, won the $25,000 Super Bucks jackpot around midnight, event promoter Carmen Marino said.

Dresp was visiting Myrtle Beach with a friend when she decided to try Super Bucks Bingo. She won several smaller prizes before walking off with the largest amount of the evening.

Dresp left the building with about $26,500, Marino said. She was escorted to her car by security guards hired for the event.

The lucky winner is from Binley and has been an avid player for many years, going to the Gala Savoy Club, in Radford Road, Radford, once or twice a week.
