VFW Charity Bingo

On Monday, legal representatives for VFW Charity Bingo in Triana asked the Court Judge Bruce Williams not to close the business.

Managers of the Wall-Triana Highway bingo hall voluntarily closed its doors on Thursday after the Sheriff complaint about the hall’s legality.

Attorneys for the bingo hall argue that charity bingo is legal under both state and town ordinances. They will keep the bingo hall closed until the judge puts an end to the confrontations.

Money earned by the bingo hall goes to widows and orphans of military veterans and families of deployed soldiers.

The bingo hall is only one year old, but its popularity grew in a very fast pace because of its good nature.

The decision of the judge should arrive in a few days; lets just hope it’s good news!
