Seniat closed seven bingo rooms in Caracas

The bingos were closed during a procedure that took place at night as part of the Zero Evasion Plan. The information was made public by de manager of Seniat, Estanislao Gonzales, who informed that the places that received a sanction were the bingos Star Queen, Galaxie, La Trinidad, Majestic Way, Club Social Layalina, Inversiones LNH and Club Deportivo Krampus.

According to Gonzalez, this operative took place following the instructions of the National Customs and Tributary Superintendent, José Gregorio Vielma, coordinated with the Manager of Internal Affairs and with the objective of updating the taxes payment and also the presentation of the bingo’s formal duties.

The worker also said that as the president of the Commission of Bingos, Casinos and Slot Machines, he took the decision of acting together with the Seniat in order to drive to legality the bingos and casinos of the country.

“It was presented a law project about the taxes that regulate casinos, bingos and slot machines, which has already passed to the second discussion”, Gonzalez said. He also said that with this law, “there will be legal tools that will allow a better procedure to apply fines and closures to the establishments that don’t fulfill the legal provisions”.
