A woman from Ellesmere Port, who asked not to be named, hit a £100,000 bingo jackpot at the Gala Bingo Club in Bromborough. The mother-of-four won the National Bingo Game plus the regional prize and the house prize.

The lucky lady completed a full house in 41 numbers, faster that in any of the 500 clubs playing nationwide. The winner told bingo hall authorities that she works in catering and her husband is an engineer.

“I have been playing bingo for the last 32 years, since my eldest daughter was born. My previous biggest win was £1,000. It was such a shock when I realized I had won”, she said. “I will probably do the usual things people do when they win money; pay off my debts, have a holiday and decorate my house, including a new kitchen and bathroom.”
