Ryanair, Europe’s largest low cost airline, has announced its plans to turn its planes into flying casinos that will allow passengers to play “Ryanair Bingo” as well as other instant win games. The announcement is part of the airline’s plans to launch its online casino.
“The airline hopes to create an in-flight service by the middle of next year, which would be accessible via mobile phones or through bespoke onboard terminals,” Michael O’Leary, Ryanair chief executive, said. He also explained that the company expects to receive permission to use mobile phone technology on aircraft by January.
“Finding a cheap flight is a racing certainty with Ryanair and now our passengers will have the chance to enjoy a flutter on Ryanair Bingo and instant win with just some of the money they have saved,” O’Leary finished.
Ryanair’s passengers will have to opportunity to win bingo jackpots of about £200,000 while crossing the skies.
