The military of the Spanish frigate "Victoria," which is posted in Somali waters in a European Union mission against piracy, organized a charity bingo for the orphanage in the city of Djibouti. The bingo, held on 2nd February, when the frigate sailed the Red Sea, raised over 500 Euros, according to military sources.
This bingo is a continuation of "Operation Diaper," which was launched by the military of the frigate "Victoria" in 2004 when they stopped near Djibouti.
The money will be invested in the purchase of diapers, toys and other necessities for the children of the orphanage in the city of Djibouti, located near the Gulf of Aden.
This time, besides the money raised at the bingo, they will be donating a box of medicines provided by Unit Staff Aviation on board.
